Manual Lymphatic Drainage

As a certified Vodder Cosmetic MLD therapist focusing on the face, head and neck I cannot more highly recommend these treatments.

MLD is a hands-on treatment technique that uses a series of light, rhythmic strokes to reduce swelling and improve the return of lymph to the circulatory system.

It is intended to move fluid away from congested areas by increasing the activity of normal lymphatics and bypassing ineffective or obliterated lymph vessels. Effective lymphatic drainage massage stimulates the opening of the initial lymphatic vessel and increase the volume of lymph flow by as much as 20 times.

MLD has been found to be helpful in treating many conditions including:

Skin issues - Acne, Rosacea, Scars, Stretch marks

Pre and post surgery - reduces swelling in the tissues before for a better result and after for faster recovery i.e. knee and hip replacements, or any cosmetic procedures

Arthritis, Burns, Keloids

Fibromyalgia, Sciatica, Multiple Sclerosis

Manual Lymphatic Drainage treatments are very beneficial for professionals working in high stress situations and careers that call upon serious mental focus.
